Agricultural exports by trucks from Ukraine to Slovakia decreased by 18%

The volume of road freight transportation of agricultural products from Ukraine to Slovakia decreased by 18% in April.
As of April 29, total agricultural exports by trucks from Ukraine amounted to 274.3 thousand tons — 7% less than in March, according to Spike Brokers.
The decline in agricultural export volumes was observed at almost all checkpoints, the most at the Slovak border, where volumes decreased by 18%, to 14.7 thousand tons.
At the Romanian and Polish checkpoints, the figures fell by 12% and 7% — to 67.4 thousand tons and 113.9 thousand tons, respectively. Agricultural exports through the Moldovan border experienced a slight decrease — to 42.5 thousand tons.
In contrast, exports across the Hungarian border increased by 3.5% compared to March to 35.7 thousand tons.
The main export commodities for the corresponding period remain sunflower oil (29 thousand tons) and sugar (25.4 thousand tons).
