Agro-Region has closed a deal to sell 100% of the company to Verevsky’s Enselco Agro group

Shareholders of one of the largest agricultural holdings in Ukraine, Agro-Region, have completed a deal to sell 100% of the company to the Enselco group, owned by Andriy Verevskyi, the owner of Kernel.
This was announced by the investment company Dragon Capital, which acted as the exclusive financial advisor to the sellers.
“The closing of the deal took place after fulfilling standard conditions and obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals,” the report says.
As the company noted, this deal is one of the largest M&A transactions in the agricultural sector of Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war.
Majority shareholder of Agro-Region Aivaras Abromavicius did not comment in detail on the deal, thanking the company’s team and partners for many years of cooperation.
Managing Director of Dragon Capital Brian Best emphasized that the deal confirms the interest of strategic investors in high-quality Ukrainian agricultural assets and strengthens the company’s position in the market for supporting complex M&A transactions.
It should be noted that the Agro-Region group of companies has a land bank of 41 thousand hectares, located in four regions of Ukraine, as well as about 200 thousand tons of elevator capacity.
