American funds gained control of the Olimpex terminal in Odesa

One of the largest grain terminals in Odesa, Olimpex, was transferred to new owners by the Supreme Court decision.
Control over the terminal was acquired by American funds Argentem Creek Partners and Innovatus Capital Partners, the “Liga”reports with reference to the FT.
The companies previously won an international arbitration for $150 million and several decisions of British courts. According to Argentem Creek partner John Patton, the terminal was “one of the centers of black grain in Odessa, probably the largest.”
The capacity of the Olimpex terminal is about 5 million tons per year, which makes it one of the largest in Ukraine.
The American funds plan to restart the terminal this summer or early autumn.
Earlier, USM reported that the owners of the terminal in the Odessa port were suspected of fraud for $20 million.
