An additional line of boom barriers was recorded in the Sevastopol Bay

Thus, the Russian command is trying to additionally secure the internal water area in case of a breakthrough by Ukrainian naval drones.

In temporarily occupied Sevastopol, new elements of the boom barrier system in the bay, as well as individual berths, were recorded. This is reported by the Crimean Wind telegram channel.

In addition to the three main lines of booms at the entrance to the Sevastopol Bay, additional barriers have also been installed in the central part of the water area – from berth No. 8 to Apollo Bay.

Presumably, this idea is connected with the attempts of the command of the Russian Black Sea Fleet to create another line of defense for the far part of the bay in case Ukrainian naval drones break through the main lines of defense.

At the same time, there are not only warships, but even boats near berth No. 8 and Kuryna Pier. Thus, the Russian military continues to strengthen the engineering defense of the Sevastopol Bay, even though some of the berths remain virtually empty.

As USM previously wrote, damaged Russian ships are still hiding in the bays of occupied Sevastopol.
