An agricultural exporter in the Odesa region reimbursed over 8 million UAH in unpaid taxes


According to Bureau of Economic Security materials, an agricultural exporter in the Odesa region reimbursed the state budget for over 8 million UAH of unpaid taxes.

Detectives of the Territorial Department of Bureau of Economic Security in the Odesa region completed a pre-trial investigation into tax evasion by the company.

The losses caused to the state have been compensated, the Bureau of Economic Security noted.

It was established that the director of the enterprise, which specializes in wholesale trade in grain, seeds and animal feed, intentionally failed to declare income in 2024 and did not pay income tax to the state budget of Ukraine in the total amount of almost 8.2 million UAH.

Currently, the director, who is also the founder of the company, has been reported on suspicion of committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, for intentional tax evasion.

During the pre-trial investigation, the exporter compensated the state budget for losses in the amount of UAH 8.2 million. The criminal proceedings were sent to the court with an indictment.

Earlier, USM reported that the logistics company reimbursed over UAH 7 million in unpaid taxes.
