An anchor mine was destroyed on the Black Sea coast
The sappers destroyed an anchor mine on one of the beaches of Odesa.
On Sunday, March 3, rescuers were informed about the discovery of an unknown object on the coast of the Black Sea. This is reported by the State Emergency Service of Odesa Region.
Odesa sappers identified the ammunition as an anchor mine, which was destroyed in a safe place.
Citizens were reminded that when they find unknown objects that look like ammunition, they should not be touched under any circumstances. Instead, it is necessary to immediately call the number “101”.
“Only experienced specialists are able to properly and safely defuse explosive objects,” the rescuers said.
It will be recalled that at the beginning of January 2024, Turkey, Bulgaria and Romania signed an agreement on demining the Black Sea. The joint anti-mine group can start working already in April or May.
