An oil depot that supplies fuel to the Russian army is on fire in Feodosia

On the night of April 8, a fire broke out in the territory of a marine oil terminal in the temporarily occupied Feodosia.

On the night of April 8, an oil depot caught fire in the temporarily occupied Feodosia after a drone attack. This is reported by Crimean Wind.

The target of the strike was JSC Marine Oil Terminal, one of the main oil product transshipment facilities in Crimea. According to reports, the strike on fuel tanks occurred after 1 a.m. The large-scale fire was visible from a considerable distance – eyewitnesses report a glow more than 20 km from the facility.

The fire in the terminal area was also recorded by NASA FIRMS satellites.

Local public forums wrote about the closure of railway crossings near the facility – in particular on Kerch Highway and Fedka Street, which may indicate attempts to localize the consequences of the attack.

The Feodosia oil terminal plays an important role in providing fuel to the Russian occupation forces, in particular, in the southern direction. That is why the facility is systematically under attack by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

In particular, in October 2025, a series of attacks led to significant destruction of the infrastructure. According to available data, 11 tanks were destroyed, and another part was seriously damaged. In total, 43 tanks were located on the territory of the facility, of which 7 remained intact at that time.

Before the start of the systematic attacks, the total volume of the terminal’s tank fleet was estimated at approximately 250 thousand cubic meters.

In fact, only two similar facilities operate in Crimea – the second is located in Sevastopol, which makes the Feodosia terminal critically important for the fuel logistics of the Russian forces on the peninsula.

Also the day before, USM wrote that at least 30% of oil tanks in the port of Ust-Luga were hit as a result of recent drone attacks.
