An unknown drone crashed on the coast of Bulgaria

A drone of unknown origin crashed on the coast of Bulgaria in the Black Sea. The drone was found on the evening of Sunday, September 17.

An unknown drone was found on the Black Sea coast in the village of Tyulenovo, Novinite reports.

According to unconfirmed information, it is a kamikaze drone with an explosive device.

It is not known how the drone ended up on the coast of Bulgaria: whether it fell from the air or was carried by the current. It was also not specified whose drone fell on the coast. According to the mayor of Shabla municipality, Marian Zhechev, “from what you can see from afar, this is one of those (drones, ed.) that were used in the war in Ukraine.”

Currently, the territory on the coast is surrounded. A local resident who found the UAV said that the electronics on the device were glowing, which could indicate the presence of unactivated explosives.

The command of the Naval Forces reported that the search group for unexploded ordnance is now on its way to Tyulenovo.
