Another 150,000 tons of grain were sent for export from the ports of Odesa Region
Another 3 ships with agricultural products for Asian countries left the ports of Great Odesa.
Today, March 27, 3 vessels left the ports of Chornomorsk and Pivdenny. Among them is the Asl Ileana bulker with 54,600 tons of wheat for Bangladesh. In total, 150,000 tons of food were sent to Asian countries in one day. This was announced on the Facebook page of the Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine.
Bangladesh is a key consumer of Ukrainian wheat. So, since August 1, the country received more than 710 thousand tons of grain from Ukraine. These volumes could be higher if russia had not purposefully slowed down inspections of vessels in the Bosphorus Strait.
In total, 848 vessels have left the ports of Great Odesa since the beginning of the “Grain Initiative”. They exported 25.9 million tons of Ukrainian food to the countries of Asia, Europe and Africa. Currently, 680,000 tons of agricultural products are loaded onto 19 ships in the ports of Great Odesa. 3 more vessels are moving along the “Grain Corridor” for loading.
The situation in the Bosphorus Strait is consistently difficult. 94 vessels are waiting in line for inspection by the SCC commission. On average, there are 6 inspections per day both at the entrance to the ports and at the exit. Such indicators are only half of the approved plan.
