Another African country can create a logistics hub for Ukrainian food

Ukraine and Ghana are considering the possibility of implementing a joint project on the construction of logistics hubs for food storage.

The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, Mykola Solskyi, and the Minister of Food and Agriculture of the Republic of Ghana, Owus Afriyie Akoto, discussed the issue of creating a hub in Ghana.

“The parties discussed the issue of launching a joint project — a logistics hub for food storage. Such a hub will allow storing high-quality grain, contribute to predictability of sales and stabilization of food prices,” the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy noted.

The participants of the meeting agreed to consider in more detail the possibility of implementing a joint Ukrainian-African project in the field of logistics cooperation. The ministers also discussed deepening cooperation in the field of agriculture and expanding international trade and economic relations.

Ghana is the third country visited by the delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture within the framework of an official visit to African countries.
