ARMA appoints acting head of agency

Yaroslava Maksymenko previously headed the department at the Ministry of Economy, and also worked with assets that were transferred to ARMA.

Minister of Economy Oleksiy Sobolev introduced the acting head of ARMA, Yaroslava Maksymenko, to the ARMA team.
Previously, Yaroslava Maksymenko headed the Department of Property Policy and Sanctions at the Ministry of Economy, and worked with assets that were transferred to ARMA (Asset Tracing and Management Agency).
Also, on August 13, 2025, she was appointed Deputy Head for European Integration of ARMA.
“An important step to strengthen the institutional capacity of the Agency was the updated version of the Law on ARMA, which has already entered into force. The ARMA reform is part of Ukraine’s obligations to European partners within the framework of the Ukraine Facility,” the ministry emphasized.
As a reminder, on July 30, the Head of ARMA Olena Duma resigned. She noted that an international audit of ARMA was ahead. According to her, she signed a statement to ensure that it would be conducted independently.
