ARMA failed to sell the “Anka” vessel, which illegally visited occupied Crimea, at auction

The National Agency for Tracing and Asset Management (ARMA) was unable to sell the Anka vessel, which illegally visited the occupied Crimea, at auction.

This is stated in the announcement in the electronic trading system Prozorro.Sales.

The auction was scheduled for 12:30 on December 29. However, the auction is currently determined to have not taken place – probably due to the lack of participants.

The starting price of the “Anka” vessel (IMO: 9365415, flag of Tanzania) is UAH 16.3 million (excluding VAT). The future owner of the vessel will also be obliged to pay customs duties in the amount of UAH 4.5 million to the ARMA account. In addition, port dues may be charged.

ARMA noted that the main hull structures of the vessel – side plating, main deck flooring, bulkheads – have individual traces of corrosion. The paintwork is missing in some places, there is swelling and peeling on the hull structures.

As a reminder, the “Anka” was damaged as a result of a Russian attack in the Odesa region on December 23.
