ARMA found a buyer for the arrested vessel USKO MFU on the third attempt

The National Agency for Tracing and Asset Management (ARMA) held a successful auction for the sale of the arrested vessel USKO MFU.

This is stated in the report on the results of the auction, which took place on December 8 in the Prozorro.Sales system.

The winner was Universal LTD LLC, which at the Dutch auction agreed to a starting price of UAH 2.48 million with a price reduction.

In addition, the future buyer is obliged to pay UAH 4.42 million in customs duties.

If the winning company does not buy the object, it will lose almost UAH 1 million in guarantee fees.

Earlier, ARMA warned about a number of shortcomings that currently affect the functionality of the vessel: among them – wear and dents on the port and starboard sides of the hull, wear of metal on the deck, oil leaks, breaks in the deck ventilation system, wear of wheels and cover rails, etc.

Given the long stay of the vessel in the sludge, the technical condition has deteriorated – there are reasons to believe that the mechanisms have defrosted.

Recall that Ukraine detained the vessel Usko Mfu on the Danube due to ties with the Russian Federation. It entered Ukrainian waters after a voyage to occupied Sevastopol.

USM also reported that a Ukrainian court sentenced the captain of the vessel, who helped export Ukrainian grain from Crimea.
