ARMA issued an invoice for UAH 5 million to the manager of the arrested Russian ships

The company, which manages a fleet of 10 vessels, including the infamous EMMAKRIS III, has violated key terms of its contract with the state.
The National Assets Tracing and Management Agency (ARMA) has issued a notice to the private company Marinex, the manager of ten seized vessels, including the dry cargo ship EMMAKRIS III, which is widely known as the first Russian-origin vessel seized in Ukraine after the full-scale invasion.
повідомляє According to the ARMA press service, the agency found serious violations of the terms of the management contract. In particular, Marinex failed to pay UAH 5.15 million in guarantee payments to the state budget, did not submit any reports, did not insure the vessels, did not open a separate account for transactions with seized assets, did not register for tax purposes, and did not pay UAH 340,000 in appraisers.
The order issued to the company states that the violations must be eliminated immediately. In particular, Marinex must immediately fulfill its contractual obligations and transfer all specified amounts to the state budget.
In case of ignoring the requirements, the agency reserves the right to terminate management contracts and bring the guilty parties to administrative responsibility.
