ARMA received over 650 asset tracing requests in September


Information about the discovered assets has already been transferred to the competent authorities for seizure.

In the first two weeks of September, the National Agency for Tracing and Asset Management (ARMA) received 654 requests for the discovery and tracing of assets. This was reported by the ARMA press service.

The largest number of them — 433 — was sent by the Ministry of Justice, another 9 requests came from foreign competent authorities, the press service of the agency reported.

During this time, 355 real estate objects, 195 vehicles, cash worth over UAH 5.2 billion, corporate rights worth UAH 877.8 million, securities worth UAH 240.7 million and 37 weapons were discovered in Ukraine.

Abroad, ARMA discovered 13 real estate properties, 3 vehicles, corporate rights worth UAH 207,000 and cash equivalent to over UAH 1 million.

Among the assets found in Ukraine are 33 luxury residential properties, 27 non-residential premises, 16 luxury cars, 12 weapons, 2 vessels, business shares worth over UAH 16 million, as well as funds worth over USD 10,000 and about UAH 400,000.

“Information about the discovered assets has already been transferred to the competent authorities of Ukraine and relevant foreign jurisdictions for seizure and subsequent transfer of the property to ARMA management,” the department noted.

As USM wrote, at the end of last month, ARMA announced a tender for the sale of the Anka vessel, which illegally entered Crimea
