ARMA terminated the contract with the manager of the arrested Russian vessels
Due to low revenues to the state budget, ARMA terminated the contract with the manager of the arrested ships of the Russian Federation.
This became known from the message of the head of the Agency, Olena Duma.
“The management of each of the 9 Russian merchant ships with a total cost of more than 530 million hryvnias brought the budget only 10 thousand hryvnias per month. That is, a large sea vessel provided income at the level of rent from a modest one-room apartment on the outskirts of Kyiv,” the head of the Agency explained.
She added that asset management efficiency checks are currently ongoing, and appropriate decisions based on their results are already being prepared.
“ARMA will no longer work with managers who neglect the interests of the state in the difficult struggle against the aggressor. Corruption and other criminal assets will work to rebuild the country and defeat the enemy,” Olena Duma emphasized.
