ARMA transferred 10 arrested Russian vessels to management

The state budget will receive more than UAH 5.7 million per month thanks to the transfer of ten arrested Russian vessels to management.
The Agency for Search and Asset Management (ARMA) has transferred 10 vessels belonging to Russian companies to management. This was announced by the head of the Agency, Olena Duma.
The private enterprise MARINEX, which won the competition the day before, became the manager of the vessels. It is expected that as a result of this decision, the state budget will receive more than UAH 5.7 million per month.
This is significant progress compared to previous agreements, when the state received only UAH 10,000 per month for each of the 9 arrested ships. After inspections and termination of old agreements, the new management of ARMA has significantly increased income from these assets.
One of the transferred vessels is the bulk carrier Emmakris III, which was arrested in April 2023 by decision of the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv. It is being transferred to management for the first time.
Reference: Emmakris III has been blocked in the port of Chornomorsk since the beginning of the full-scale war. In the summer of 2022, the ship was arrested. Its registered owner is Greater Bloom Limited from the UAE, but in fact the ship is owned by a Russian company registered in Rostov-on-Don.
USM also recently wrote that ARMA is preparing to consignment the Agroterminal Logistics in the Odesa region.
