At night, Russia attacked the port infrastructure of the Odesa region


Five people were injured as a result of enemy shelling.

On the night of October 8, the invaders attacked the Odesa region with strike drones. This was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region.

As a result of the attack, large-scale fires broke out on the territory of the port infrastructure facility, as well as in two residential buildings and the administrative building of the gas station.

Containers with civilian cargo, including vegetable oil and wood fuel pellets, were burning in the port.

According to preliminary information, five people were injured.

83 rescuers, 18 units of equipment, a fire robot and volunteers with their own cars were involved in extinguishing the fire.

The State Emergency Service emphasized that another Russian attack on civilian port infrastructure caused significant destruction, but all the sources of ignition were localized.
