Russia is trying to destroy maritime logistics by launching systematic attacks on port and energy infrastructure. Ports and energy facilities are under attack again tonight.
This was reported by the Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine – Minister of Development of Communites and Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba.
A fire broke out in the port of Yuzhny as a result of the strike – about 30 containers with flour and vegetable oil caught fire.
“Port employees and all relevant services are working on site, the elimination of the consequences is ongoing. I thank all the services that are working around the clock to eliminate the consequences of the Russian attacks,” the minister noted.
In particular, the Russian Federation continues to attack energy infrastructure. Critical infrastructure facilities are connected to alternative power sources.
As previously reported by USM, on the morning of December 20, the enemy shelled the port of Pivdennyi. Eight people were killed, thirty more were injured.
