Attack on Ukrainian Navy ship: two fatalities already known

As a result of the Russian strike on a ship of the Ukrainian Navy, two deaths have already been reported.

This was stated by the spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, Captain 3rd Rank Dmytro Pletenchuk, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, search and rescue operations are currently underway at the site of the Russian troops’ destruction of one of the Ukrainian Navy ships. It has also become known about the second death.

“Unfortunately, we already have a second death. Search and rescue operations are ongoing. Of course, we will definitely find all our missing people, there are several of them. Several servicemen were also injured, but most of the crew has been mostly safe since yesterday,” Pletenchuk commented.

He did not confirm or deny the information from the Russian media that the ship sank as a result of the strike.
