Belgium will train the Ukrainian military to operate naval drones
Ukrainian military personnel arrived in Belgium to learn how to operate underwater drones.
Yesterday, February 9, a group of soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces arrived in Belgium. There they will be trained to master underwater drones, Belgian Defense Minister Ludivine Dedonder announced on Twitter.
“Today we welcome Ukrainian soldiers in Belgium as part of EUMAM (European Union Military Assistance Mission to Ukraine). They will undergo training on the underwater systems that Belgium transferred to Ukraine. I expressed my deep support to them and congratulated them on the courage they have been showing for almost a year,” the government official wrote.
Previously, USM wrote that Belgium доставить в Україну will deliver 10 underwater drones manufactured by ECA Robotics Belgium to Ukraine. Drones can operate at a depth of 300 m and can be used for reconnaissance, maintenance and restoration of underwater objects.
