Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi port was put out for privatization
The state property fund put forward for privatization the state-owned enterprise “Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Sea Trade Port” in Odesa Region.
The starting price of the lot is 187 million hryvnias. The auction will take place on March 3, the website of the State Property Fund reported.
The property complex of the port put up for privatization includes:
• the building and facilities of the port in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi;
• post office “Bugaz” (Zatoka);
• recreation center “Priboy” (Zatoka);
• 9 vessels;
• 4 locomotives;
• 18 portal cranes;
• 47 vehicles.
The main type of activity of SE “Bilhorod-Dniestrovskyi Sea Trade Port” is the auxiliary service of water transport. The company specializes in transshipment of forest cargo, mineral fertilizers, iron ore pellets, metal products and grain cargo. Vessels enter through the approach channel of the sea part of the Dniester-Tsargorod estuary, 1.5 km long and the Dniester-Limansk part – 14.5 km, the depth of the approach channel – 3.0 m (passport 3.5-4.5 m).
For 9 months of 2022, the total income of the port amounted to 29.6 million hryvnias. The company’s accounts payable amount to 109.4 million hryvnias.
According to the terms of the auction, the buyer of the single property complex of the port must, within six months from the date of transfer of ownership, ensure:
• repayment of the enterprise’s debts from wages, in front of the budget, in the amount that will accrue on the date of transfer of ownership of the object of privatization.
• preventing the dismissal of port employees at the initiative of the buyer or the body authorized by him (with the exception of actions by the employee for which dismissal is provided for by law).
