British intelligence commented on the attack on the Russian ferry
Great Britain’s intelligence has published an overview of the results of Ukraine’s attack on the “Slavyanin” ferry in the Russian port of Kavkaz.
A drone attack on the Kavkaz port, in particular, and on the “Slavyanin” ferry, which the Russian Federation used for military purposes, will cause further logistical problems for the occupiers. This is stated in the report of British intelligence, “European Truth”writes.
The difficulties will concern the supply of occupation forces in the south of Ukraine and the regional export of liquefied natural gas.
It is noted that decommissioning such ferries, even temporarily, will most likely lead to increased costs, as well as reduce the Kremlin’s ability to transport fuel, ammunition and equipment through the Kerch Strait.
As the intelligence suggested, it is likely that Russia will now be forced to risk moving fuel trains across the Kerch Bridge, something it has tried to avoid since the bridge was first attacked in October 2022.
It will be recalled that on July 23, Ukrainian drones attacked a ferry in the Russian port of Kavkaz. The ship has started — there are injured among the crew, there is also a dead person.
