Bulgaria is interested in importing grain from Ukraine, – Vysotskyi
In particular, Bulgaria is ready to facilitate the transit of Ukrainian agricultural products to the country’s seaports.
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy discussed the topic of export of Ukrainian agricultural products with the temporary charge of the Bulgarian embassy, Mykolai Nenchev.
During the meeting acting Taras Vysotskyi, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, noted that Ukraine highly values cooperation with Bulgaria. In particular, regarding assistance to Ukrainian farmers in the issue of export of agricultural products.
“There has always been a constructive dialogue between Ukraine and Bulgaria regarding the resolution of various issues. This contributes to the strengthening of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Bulgaria,” Vysotsky noted.
Nikolai Nenchev, in turn, expressed his support for Ukraine.
“Bulgaria is interested in importing sunflower seeds, wheat, corn and milk powder from Ukraine. Bulgaria is also ready to facilitate the transit of Ukrainian agricultural products to the seaports of the country,” the message reads.
It should be noted that they agreed to coordinate the positions of both countries with the governments and, if necessary, promptly coordinate the situation.
