Bulgaria will conduct military exercises in the Black Sea

The Ministry of Defense of Bulgaria will conduct large-scale military exercises “Shabla 2023” in the Black Sea from June 5 to 9.
The Army, Air Force, Navy and Joint Special Operations Command will take part in the tactical exercise. As Ukrinform writes with reference to the Ministry of Defense, intense firing will be conducted from various ground and air platforms at air and surface targets.
It is noted that the main goal of the exercises is to improve the interaction of the military formations of Bulgaria.
“Bulgarian Air Force MiG-29 fighters will fire missiles at parachute targets. Combat shootings with the use of various weapons, including S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems, are also planned,” the country’s Ministry of Defense noted.
In addition, during the exercises, which will last from June 5 to 9, Su-25 aircraft and Mi-24 helicopters will fire from missile and artillery weapons at surface targets.
