Bulgaria will inform Ukraine about the companies interrupting grain transit
Bulgarian Ministry of Agriculture will monitor companies that violate the licensing regime when exporting Ukrainian grain.
Against the background of protests by Polish farmers, Ukraine and Bulgaria agreed on measures to prevent interrupted exports. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Bulgaria.
Thus, the Bulgarian side will inform Ukraine about violations by some companies of the licensing regime for the export of sunflower, rapeseed, corn and wheat seeds. The names of the companies that violated the licensing regime will be officially provided to Ukraine. We will remind, according to the decision of the Ukrainian government, companies that make an interrupted transit lose the right to export for six months.
The parties also discussed operational data on the export of grain, milk powder, honey and sunflower oil from Ukraine.
It will be recalled that farmers’ protests against Ukrainian grain are flaring up in Poland. Farmers’ dissatisfaction is associated with the distribution of grain on the Polish market, which should have transited through the country.
Thus, Poland promised to publish a list of companies that imported grain from Ukraine worth 1.4 billion euros.
At the same time, unknown people on the Ukrainian-Polish border dumped Ukrainian grain from a truck onto the road.
