The cadets of the Navy of Ukraine completed ship rescue training in Germany (video)Future diver officers of the Navy of Ukraine improved their skills on a ship survival course in Germany.

The cadets of the Institute of the Navy of Ukraine completed the basic course of fighting for the survivability of the ship at the German naval engineering school Marinetechnikschule. This was reported in the press service of the Navy.

At the modern training ground, future officers were trained in fire localization, flood elimination and providing first aid on the ship. The cadets also mastered the use of self-contained breathing apparatus and special equipment to eliminate emergency situations on board.

Such skills are essential to maintaining the combat capability of the ship. During naval battles, part of the crew carries out combat operations, while the other works to eliminate damage caused by enemy fire. The effectiveness of these actions depends not only on the outcome of the battle, but also on people’s lives.

Previously, USM wrote that the Navy took part in NATO’s largest exercises for the first time.
