The Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority is attracting funding from the European Commission to upgrade its technical and pilot fleet.

According to the results of 2025, Ukraine exported agricultural products worth $22.53 billion, which is 8.8% or $2.15 billion less than the previous year.

In December last year, 75% of agricultural product shipments were corn, while wheat fell by almost 50%.

In October-December, 20 vessels were damaged in Ukrainian ports as a result of Russian attacks — 2.5 times more than in the same period a year earlier.

Last year, the agricultural company paid UAH 712.4 million in taxes.

For the ports of the Odesa region, 2025 was another year of testing. Shelling of infrastructure, changes in tariffs, a partial ban on the import of fertilizers, blackouts and the upcoming concession in the port of Chornomorsk – all this had an impact that shaped the work of the industry throughout the year.

The Ukrainian government is working on developing a mechanism to compensate for losses for small and medium-sized businesses that suffered as a result of Russian attacks on port infrastructure.

The largest share of soybeans, 61%, was exported by sea, and Turkey remained the key sales market.
