Chinese gas tanker likely is helping Russia circumvent US sanctions

The Chinese gas carrier CCH Gas, which may be involved in schemes to circumvent US sanctions against the Russian Federation, continues to falsify its geolocation.
This is reported by Bloomberg.
According to the ship’s AIS, CCH Gas is allegedly located off the east coast of Malaysia. However, satellite images taken between October 28 and November 2 show that the ship was not in this area.
Earlier in October, the gas carrier was spotted next to the Perle tanker, which was transporting LNG from the Russian sanctioned Gazprom LNG Portovaya plant. The images indicate a possible transshipment of gas from ship to ship.
The ship’s true geolocation is currently unknown. It may be involved in illegal operations to transport Russian gas to third countries.
