Chinese ship entered occupied Sevastopol at least three times

The container ship, owned by the Chinese company Guangxi Changhai Shipping Company, has called at the port of Sevastopol at least three times.

The fact of the visits was confirmed not only by Ukrainian officials, but also by an investigation by the Financial Times, writes Economic Truth.

According to the investigation, which is based on satellite images, transponder data and photographs, the Panamanian-flagged Heng Yang 9 was in Sevastopol in June, August and September, after which it visited Turkey and Egypt.

The Ukrainian Embassy in China raised the issue of the ship in a conversation with representatives of the Chinese Foreign Ministry back in June. At that time, the department replied that citizens and companies were recommended to avoid activities in the occupied territories of Ukraine, and promised to consider each case separately.

Earlier, USM reported that a “conveyor” for the transshipment of stolen Ukrainian grain was operating in Crimea.
