Chornomorsk Port put up for sale two vessels for UAH 6 million

MTP “Chornomorsk” is selling two vessels through the Prozorro system. The sales are the oil tanker “Rainbow” and the tugboat “Mykhailo Dobrov”.
The starting price of “Rainbow” is 3.36 million UAH. The vessel was built in Sweden in 1971, its length is 84 meters, reports “Intent”.
At the same time, the technical condition of the hull is assessed as unsatisfactory: the wear of the outer skin reaches 38%, the decks – up to 40%, the set – up to 35%.
The tugboat “Mykhailo Dobrov”, built in Japan in 1974, is listed for 3.11 million UAH. Its length is 60 meters. It is currently impossible to assess the condition of the hull, since the vessel is flooded.
In parallel, processes are underway in Ukraine to dispose of arrested vessels associated with the Russian Federation. Thus, recently the Dniprovsky District Court of Kyiv transferred to the management of ARMA the bulk carrier Anka, which, according to the SBU, was used by Russia to export Ukrainian agricultural products from the occupied territories.
Earlier, ARMA had already auctioned the tanker “Nika Spirit” (formerly known as “Neyma”), detained in 2019 in the port of Izmail. This vessel was identified by international systems as having participated in the blockade of the Kerch Strait in November 2018.
