Coal reserves in ports and thermal power plants exceeded 1 million tons, – Zelenskyy

The volumes of thermal coal at Ukrainian power plants and ports exceeded 1 million tons.

This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy following a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).

The President noted that energy coal reserves are growing every day, thanks to “rhythmic deliveries, including by rail and sea.”

Deputy Head of the Office of the President Rostyslav Shurma specified that about 280,000 tons of coal are now in Ukrainian ports.
