Colombia is ready to increase oil supplies to the US

Colombia is ready to increase oil exports to the United States of America amid the ban on oil and gas imports from Russia.

It is noted that Colombia has more potential in supplies than Venezuela, which also said earlier that it was ready to resume oil supplies to the United States.

As enkorr writes, citing Colombian President Ivan Duque, Colombia can provide about 3% of US oil imports and is ready to increase supplies “as much as possible.”

According to Duque, more than 890,000 barrels of oil are now produced in Colombia per day, and in the “very near future” this figure may reach 1 million bpd.
