Corn prices in Ukrainian ports continue to rise

The main reasons for the increase in grain prices are limited supply from farmers and increased competition for agricultural products.

The Ukrainian export market for feed corn is experiencing a gradual increase in prices. This is reported by APK-Inform.

The main reason is high demand from buyers against the background of limited supply from farmers, which intensifies competition for products. An additional impact on prices is exerted by similar dynamics in foreign markets.

As of December 11, purchase prices for feed corn in the ports of Great Odessa and Danube increased by $ 2-3 per ton, reaching the level of 196-205 USD / t and 200-207 USD / t, respectively (CPT port).

Demand for Ukrainian wheat is also growing, especially in the Spanish market. Last week, agreements were signed for the supply of feed wheat at a price of 237-238 USD/t with delivery in January 2025.

The day before, USM wrote that Ukrainian ports have already processed more than 90 million tons of cargo.
