Croatia offered to export Ukrainian grain through its ports
Ukraine and Croatia agreed on the export of Ukrainian grain, which was complicated after Russia’s withdrawal from the Black Sea Grain Initiative.
The agreement became known during the visit of the Croatian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gordan Grlic-Radman. As noted by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, the heads of both foreign policy departments held negotiations on military support, assistance in the export of grain, as well as the implementation of the Ukrainian “peace formula”.
“We agreed on the possibility of using Croatian ports on the Danube and the Adriatic Sea for the transportation of Ukrainian grain. Now we will work on laying the most efficient routes to these ports and making the most of this opportunity,” Kuleba announced.
According to the diplomat, every contribution to unblocking exports, “every open door is a real, effective contribution to the food security of the world.”
