Defense forces hit Russian ship near Crimea
In Crimea, a Ukrainian drone probably hit the Russian vessel “Fedor Uryupin”.
In the temporarily occupied Crimea, in a bay near the village of Chornomorske, a Ukrainian drone struck the Russian tug “Fedor Uryupin”. This was reported by “Crimean Wind” with reference to sources.
The incident occurred on December 23 at around 17:00. According to the source, the drone hit the side of the vessel, causing damage above the waterline. Despite this, the vessel did not sink, but suffered significant damage.
Reference: The tug “Fedor Uryupin” (IMO: 9443499) was built in 2010, the vessel belonged to Ukraine until 2014, when it was seized during the annexation of Crimea. It has not been operated recently.
According to the Marinetraffic resource, the ship flies the Russian flag, but its owner is still listed as the Ukrainian state enterprise Chornomornaftogaz.
