Deputy Head of the USPA Dmytro Barinov resigns

There have been personnel changes at the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.
Dmitry Barinov announced the dismissal on his Facebook page.
Dmitry Barinov held the position of Deputy Head of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Administration and also headed the Supervisory Board of the enterprise. His dismissal also fell on the anniversary of Russia’s full-scale war in Ukraine.
According to him, the beginning of the war became a very difficult challenge due to the blockade of ports for more than half a year and the redirection of all cargo flows to the Danube cluster.
“The country and the military were running out of fuel, farmers could not export their products, and we were calculating how long we would have enough money to pay the salaries of thousands of our employees. But we managed. We worked out the Istanbul initiatives, the Ukrainian grain corridor (104 million tons to date). We excluded Russia from the Danube Commission and stopped using the Russian language at its meetings,” Dmitry Barinov noted.
He also added that the USPA has begun implementing international projects to restore port infrastructure. In particular, it was possible to attract international financial assistance and obtain pilot boats, booms, gabions, generators, etc.
It should be noted that Dmytro Barinov has held the position of Deputy Head for Interaction with Authorities
of the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Sea Ports Administration” since 2021.
As previously reported by USM, at the beginning of this year, Dmytro Moskalenko was dismissed from the position of CEO of the UDS. Later, it became known that Oleg Mudrachenko was appointed Acting General Director.
There were also personnel changes in the Shipping Administration – the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dismissed Yevheniy Ignatenko from the position of Head of the Administration. Mykola Kravchuk was temporarily assigned the duties of Head of the Shipping Administration.
