Diesel fuel exports from Russia to Brazilian ports have quadrupled

Shipments of Russian diesel fuel to Brazilian ports have increased almost fourfold.

The volume of receipts of Russian gas oil and diesel fuel to the ports of other countries for the week of April 15-21 increased by 36% compared to the previous week and amounted to 821 thousand tons, enkorr reports.

Brazil, Turkey, and Morocco were the countries with the largest volumes of Russian diesel fuel delivered on April 8-14. They account for 75% of deliveries. In particular, Brazilian ports accepted 3.7 times more fuel than a week earlier – 310,000 tons.

Last week, Brazil received exclusively Russian diesel fuel and gas oil.

The largest volumes were sent from the Baltic ports – Primorsk, Novorossiysk and St. Petersburg.

Previously, USM reported that in the new package of sanctions against the Russian Federation, the allies will focus on banning the import of Russian LNG and countering the work of the “shadow fleet”.
