“Diya” for Ukrainian sailors: the beta test of two services has officially ended

With the participation of 250 Ukrainian sailors, two services were tested, which are now available on the Diya portal.

During the beta testing period, it was possible to issue 46 qualification documents, and more than 200 sailors signed up for the qualification exam (CES 6.0), reports the Ministry of Reconstruction of Ukraine.

“As part of the diploma reform, a new format for obtaining services was introduced – a seafarer from anywhere in the world can quickly and without contact with officials receive the documents necessary for work,” the ministry noted.

In turn, the Ministry of Digital Transformation explained that due to the human factor, about $150 million passed the budget annually.

“Earlier, documents were received only through private intermediaries. The corrupt person earned from 3 to 8 thousand dollars on the registration of each sailor,” the press service of the ministry noted.

Now available on the “Diya” portal:

• application for assignment or confirmation of rank and qualification;

• filing a complaint against the refusal to receive a qualification document.

Also, the registration for computer testing of CES 6.0 for sailors was launched earlier.

To use the services, you must:

• log in to the “Diya” portal;

• choose the necessary service;

• fill out an application for receiving a document and sign it with an Act.Signature or KEP;

• send an application for consideration.

What qualification documents can be issued using the “Diya” Portal?

Diplomas and confirmations of diplomas of captain, senior mate, watch mate, radio operator (general/limited), chief engineer, second engineer of ships with main engines of any power, watch engineer. Specialist’s certificate of training under the extended program for cargo operations on oil tankers, gas tankers, chemical tankers, as well as specialist’s certificate of initial training for cargo operations on oil tankers and chemical tankers and gas tankers. Currently, the list is not exhaustive, it includes those titles and qualification documents that have been tested and are ready for launch for a wide range of users of the Diya Portal. At the same time, the list will expand and very soon will include all possible options.

How to use online services on the “Diya” Portal?

Register or log in to the Action Portal diia.gov.ua using an electronic signature and select the required service. Fill out the online application and sign it with an electronic signature. Wait for the notification of the decision.
