Drones attacked the St. Petersburg oil terminal in Russia
Drones attacked the St. Petersburg oil terminal, located in the territory of the Leningrad region of the Russian Federation.
At night, UAVs attacked the St. Petersburg oil terminal. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation claims that the Russian Air Defense Forces intercepted one drone over the Leningrad Region, and allegedly destroyed another one over the Moscow Region.
Russian Telegram channels report that the drone fell on the territory of the terminal and exploded there, causing a fire. Previously, there were no casualties.
According to the sources of the Baza channel, there were three drones in total, two of which were allegedly shot down by EW. The third drone fell on the territory of one of the elevator platforms of the terminal, between tanks with fuel oil.
As hromadske reports with reference to sources in the State Government, Ukrainian intelligence is currently clarifying the information. Officially, no one commented on the drone attack on the terminal in Ukraine.
St. Petersburg oil terminal is the largest Russian oil product transshipment terminal in the Baltic region.
