Drones hit the port of Temryuk: two tanks with petroleum products caught fire

Two oil tanks caught fire in the Russian port of Temryuk, the area of the fire reached about 2 thousand m².

On the night of December 25, Ukrainian drones attacked the port of Temryuk in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation. This was reported by Ukrinform.

The operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory confirmed the attack on the port of Temryuk (Sea of Azov, near Kerch) and reported a fire on an area of ~2,000 m². According to preliminary data, two oil tanks were damaged.

Recall that in the summer, a terminal for oil exports was opened in the port of Temryuk, from where fuel is sent to the countries of the Black Sea and Mediterranean regions.

The port was already under attack in early December – local authorities reported damage to infrastructure elements and a fire after a drone attack.

Also, the day before, USM wrote that the attack on a submarine in Novorossiysk showed the vulnerability of Russian ports to underwater attacks.
