Due to the Russian attack on the Odesa region, freight trains changed their route to the ports

Freight trains are heading to ports via alternative routes after a nighttime Russian attack on the Odesa region.
The Odesa region and the region’s railway infrastructure were under enemy fire that night, Ukrzaliznytsia said.
“There were no casualties at the workplaces, but unfortunately, the enemy attack on Odessa took the life of a railway worker in his own home,” the UZ reported.
One of the sections was damaged: the tracks, the catenary and three freight cars were damaged.
Railway workers are carrying out urgent restoration work so that freight trains can run to the ports without obstacles. They are currently heading via an alternative route.
