Ecocide due to russian federation: the bodies of more than 2,000 seals were found on the shores of the Caspian Sea
Launches of russian missiles from the territory of the Caspian Sea could have led to the mass death of seals.
The bodies of 2,500 seals were found on the shores of the Caspian Sea, the animal protection organization UAnimals reports.
“Let us remind you that the russians are shelling Ukraine from the Caspian Sea, and this news once again emphasizes that the ecocide caused by the Russians during the war is destroying the world’s environment. The Caspian Sea is located on the territory of russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Iran. The launch of missiles from the territory of the Caspian Sea kills the environment not only of Ukraine, but also of other countries,” animal rights activists emphasize.
As USM previously reported, 50,000 dolphins died in the Black Sea as a result of the use of russian ships.
