Export prices for feed corn in Ukraine continue to rise

The market is supported by steady demand from importers against the backdrop of limited supply from farmers and the general situation in the world grain market.

The Ukrainian export market is experiencing a further increase in demand prices for feed corn. This is reported by APK-Inform Agency.

The main factor in growth is the consistently high demand from importers against the backdrop of extremely limited supply of grain from farmers. As a result, competition between buyers for available volumes of corn is intensifying in the market, which additionally supports the price level. The general situation in the world corn and wheat market also has an impact on the situation.

As of May 20, in the ports of Great Odesa and the Danube region, purchase prices for feed corn were mainly in the range of 225–234 USD/t and 223–230 USD/t CPT-port, respectively.

This is 2–4 USD/t higher than at the end of the previous week, which confirms the continuation of the upward trend in the market.

As USM wrote the day before, since 2023, more than 197 million tons of cargo have already passed through the Ukrainian sea corridor, of which 117 million tons are grain.
