Exports through the “grain corridor” decreased by almost a quarter
During the 36th week of operation of the Grain Agreement, 655.9 thousand tons of agricultural products were exported through the ports of Great Odesa – 23% less than a week ago.
Over the last week, 16 vessels were loaded. Only 655.9 thousand tons of grain were sent for export — 23% less than a week ago, reports UKAB.
Low export figures are due to the blocking of the work of the RCC by the russian side. Thus, from April 3 to 9, only 16 vessels passed the inspection.
During the past week, the following crops were exported the most:
• corn (57% of total exports);
• wheat (30%);
• sunflower oil (6%).
In total, since the beginning of the Black Sea Grain Initiative, Ukraine has exported 27.4 million tons of agricultural products.
