Exports through the “grain corridor” decreased by another 5%

As a result of russian sabotage of the JCC, export volumes from Ukrainian ports fell by another 5% compared to the previous week.

During the period from April 17 to 23, Ukraine exported 668.4 thousand tons of agricultural products through the ports of Great Odesa. This indicator is 5% less than the volume of shipments through the “grain corridor” a week ago, reports UCAB.

The number of vessels loaded during the week was only 15 units. The main reason for the low efficiency of the “grain corridor” is russian sabotage of vessel inspections.

On average, according to the results of last week, no more than 2 vessels were inspected per day – on exit from the ports.

The largest volumes of export during the 38th week of the “grain corridor” had the following crops:

• corn (68% of exports during this period);

• wheat (22%);

• sunflower cake (8%).

In total, since the beginning of the Grain Agreement, Ukraine has exported 28.8 million tons of agricultural products to the countries of Europe, Asia and Africa.
