Fire reported in Russian port Kavkaz after nighttime explosions

The facility is a key transport hub for providing support to the occupation forces in Crimea.
On the night of August 13, a series of explosions occurred in the Kerch Strait area, after which a fire was recorded in the Russian port of Kavkaz. This is reported by “Crimea.Realia”.
The explosions were heard in occupied Kerch, Feodosia and the Dzhankoy district. On the other side of the strait, a fire broke out in the territory of the Kavkaz port, an important transport hub used for transporting cargo, including military cargo, between the Kuban and occupied Crimea.
Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the alleged shooting down of nine drones: two over Crimea, two over the Sea of Azov, and five over the Krasnodar Territory.

Reference: the Kavkaz port plays a key role in the logistics of Russian troops in southern Ukraine. It is located directly opposite Kerch and provides transportation across the strait, especially after the damage to the Crimean bridge.
Previously, USM wrote that the Russians were using the Mariupol port to transfer equipment to the Zaporizhia and Pokrovsky directions.
