Firefighting training on ships held in the Odesa port

Fire-tactical exercises were held in the Odesa Seaport, during which fire extinguishing on ships and evacuation of people were practiced.
This was reported by the Odesa Seaport Authority.
The exercises were held in accordance with the schedule of fire-tactical exercises for 2025 and within the framework of the implementation of the Plan of Main Fire-Prevention Measures for the Autumn-Winter Period of 2025–2026.
During the exercises, the interaction of units during a fire on a ship, evacuation of people using self-rescuers, extinguishing a fire on a neighboring ship, laying hose lines of various diameters and working with manual barrels using PS-368 fire pumps were practiced.
Conducting such exercises increases the readiness and coordination of units, helping to ensure the proper level of fire safety in the water area and at the facilities of the Odesa Seaport, the administration added.
USM previously reported that the Odesa branch of the USPA successfully passed the recertification of its occupational health and safety management system.
