Five shipowners from Greece were put on the sanctions list for helping russian federation

Five tanker companies from Greece were included in the list of the National Committee for “War and Sanctions”. The companies are international sponsors of russia’s war against Ukraine.
The companies TMS Tankers, Minerva Marine, Dynacom Tankers Management, Thenamaris and Delta Tankers are accused of cooperation with russian federation. In addition, most of these companies during 2022 appeared in one way or another in the investigations of foreign journalists. Ukraine also opened cases against these companies.
Earlier, USM reported that Greece is helping russian federation to circumvent “oil” sanctions of the European Union. Since the beginning of 2023, the volume of raid transshipment of russian oil and oil products in Lakonikos Bay in southern Greece has reached at least 23 million barrels.
