Flash mob of the invaders: ships “painted” a symbol of racism in the Black Sea

The Russians falsified AIS data on the movement of commercial vessels to “paint” a 65-kilometer-long symbol of racism in the Black Sea.

Geollect’s analysis showed that since May 14, the Russians remotely falsified the data of the automatic identification system (AIS) of commercial vessels, so that the path of the vessels appeared to form a 65-kilometer “swastika” of the invaders, which can be seen in open vessel tracking services.

The Ministry of Defense of Great Britain reported this on Twitter with reference to intelligence.

It is noted that the tracks that make up the image indicate that the vessels were moving at speeds of up to 102 knots (188 km/h). This indicates that the data is fake.

British intelligence suggests that such a performance is an attempt to strengthen Russian morale before a Ukrainian counteroffensive.
